Easy to do and cheap. The sun must have affected our brainpower that day. LOL.

Actually, we have not spent as much time at the missions as we would like. They're still on our to-do list. Soon, though!

Thanks for subscribing to my blog.

SusanTravelBug-Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01974719934652737928noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2756706420552331439.post-71909088989091558582012-09-16T13:59:07.481-05:002012-09-16T13:59:07.481-05:00You're welcome. At one time in Portland, Oregon, I took part in Tour Guide training...thought I'd like to work as a step-on guide for a bus tour company that did scenic, sightseeing tours. Once I found out what a tour guide does besides talk about points of interest, I quickly lost interest.

My mother-in-law, Louise, made the quilt. It's the second one she's made for us. She does lovely work...puts lots of time into them. The story behind this quilt: we were living in Hawaii and Louise took me shopping for quilt blocks and material. What fun! I love bright colors and eclectic prints. I think she would have liked more structure because she said she had to do a "crazy quilt" with what I picked out. Fine with us. Bob and I love it, as do the cats.

Thank you, Louise. We love you!TravelBug-Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01974719934652737928noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2756706420552331439.post-62550155329406776182012-09-16T12:12:07.312-05:002012-09-16T12:12:07.312-05:00Hi Susan, I'm the other blogger Susan was meet...Hi Susan, I'm the other blogger Susan was meeting in San Antonio. Sorry I didn't get the chance to meet you too but I was just coming in from an RV trip. Too bad you and Susan didn't take the bus from the RV park to downtown. A lot of people stay either there or at the San Antonio KOA near the Verizon center because it is so easy to take the bus downtown and not worry about parking. I'm just catching up on some of your blog posts now but it sounds like you hit San Antonio occasionally. I'm sure you must have already been to the missions near your RV park. There are a couple and are interesting. Maybe we will get to meet another time.

http://travelinglongdogs.blogspot.com

TravelingLongdogshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07562207397650862936noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2756706420552331439.post-66159592787458593522012-09-16T08:30:49.271-05:002012-09-16T08:30:49.271-05:00Susan, I grew up in San Antonio and I am certainly...Susan, I grew up in San Antonio and I am certainly enjoying all your posts about the city that I still love. It has been a number of years since I was there but am looking forward to returning and seeing some of the places again especially because of your travels.
