I had never heard of a touchstone in your brain. It must be nice! I have absolute no color memory at all. I think I am buying something that will match, and it doesn't even come close. Perhaps that is why my entire closet is filled with only blues, grays, blacks and whites. I have only used the word "touchstone" in relation to a person or thing that calms you down and brings your awareness back to basics. For instance, touching a bible when you are having a challenge in doing the right thing, or talking to a friend who reminds you that no matter how difficult things are, family and friends are always there for you. I first heard the term in the movie Terms of Endearment. (How's that for a memory for you movie buffs).

I've been trying to walking at least 10,000 steps a day. Some of the best walking music I enjoy is from The Beach Boys. Now I will be off to download some Herman's Hermits (I was just thinking about Mrs Brown and her lovely daughter the other day, and of course, Henry the VIII) and some Who. Although I really think I spend more of my 10,000 steps a day walking back into rooms that I just left in order to get whatever it was I forgot I was going into said room for.Betsy Brownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07454972916460790510noreply@blogger.com
