Six Ten-Hour Days - Thurs., July 10

Didn't fall off the edge of the world...have been making up time at the RV park office for the time I took off for our trip . I worked ten hours last Thursday, five hours on July 4, had Saturday off, now working Sunday through Friday (ten-hour days). Haven't had much time to blog.

In the realm of fun, there have been two walks and a Transformers: Age of Extinction movie.

I'll catch up this weekend.

My favorite walks (top-ranked first):
  1. Eagle Creek to Crossover Falls - the most dramatic and the longest, but spectacular. Loved the sound of Eagle Creek all along the hike, plus Metlako Falls, Tunnel Falls and Crossover Falls.
  2. Trail of Ten Falls - 11 waterfalls in one hike, amazing. The trail is harder than the Eagle Creek Trail (more ups and downs), but shorter in length.
  3. Capital walk, Boise, Idaho - pleasant, beautiful homes.
  4. Dry Creek Falls - Enjoyed walking on the Pacific Crest Trail and through the beautiful forest. The falls were okay.
  5. Sherwood forest walk - Easy trail along a suburban wetland. Sweet Story Bakery at the halfway point.
  6. Encanto Park - Lovely park and a beautiful neighborhood made for a quiet, early morning walk.
