My friend Susan and I are heading out this morning for a three-day walking event in and around Del Rio, Texas. For lunch today, we will eat in Leakey, Texas, and then do a walk there at Big Springs Ranch for Children. From Leakey, Texas, we will continue on to Del Rio and check into our motel.
The weekend walks include a walk in Del Rio including the Sul Ross State University - Rio Grande College. We'll attend the Texas Volkssport Association meeting and go to a dinner.
On Sunday, our walk will be in Bracketville where we'll be walking around (and maybe through?) Kickapoo Caverns State Park. Then we'll head home Sunday afternoon. There will be a lot more details AFTER the walk. LOL.
I'm really looking forward to this get-away after a very busy work week!
