Kicked back, takin' it easy -- Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011

Fallon, NV
A real mellow day...Bob went out for a run and was back in about ten minutes. It is sooo cold. I think he said it was 37 degrees; with wind chill it's probably about 25. Brr. He's now reading the 5th wheel manual in the recliner.

We are using every blanket we brought with us. Thank you to:
~Gina for the cozy blanket she made for us,
~Bob's mom for two quilts (one for our bed and one for watching TV), and
~My mom for the crocheted blanket (which we've had for years) and the warm, furry blanket.

When my phone rang this morning it was Pheasant Ridge RV Park. A lady found our storage unit keys in the grass between our site and their site. Yeah! The RV park is mailing the keys to me. Phew (wiping brow). When we return to our storage unit, we'll be able to get in!

One nice perk to cold weather...there aren't too many bugs; just a few gnats, yellow jackets and sluggish flies.

We plan to do a walk this afternoon. I'll be bundling up with long johns, mittens, scarf and warm coat.

Time to do chores; laundry's up first. Travel Bug out.
