Phoenix, Arizona:
Our ultimate destination for this portion of our trip is Kerrville, Texas for the RV-Dreams Rally that starts April 23. Kerrville is in the Texas Hill Country. We have never spent any time in Texas and the Hill Country is supposed to be very beautiful.
While exploring Texas Hill Country we hope to take our bikes on some trails through the countryside around the parks where we camp.
We will drive to Austin, San Antonio, New Braunfels, Fredericksburg, Bandera, Boerne & Luckenbach. We're hoping to stay at Pedernales Falls State Park, South Llano River State Park, and McKinney Falls State Park.
Update on our status: We had a relaxing day Wednesday in our RV Park and lunch at Red Lobster with Skip and Sally. Uncle Skip is Bob's mother's brother. They are interesting and fun to hang out with.

The Hill Country is absolutely beautiful and one of my favorite places in the country. Especially Fredericksburg. I've wanted to move there for the last 10 years :) One day maybe! Hope you have a wonderful time exploring!

Anna, Yes, we had a wonderful time in the Texas hill country. It is absolutely lovely in the spring--wildflowers galore! I especially liked Kerrville, Fredericksburg, Marble Falls, South Llano River State Park and Pedernales Falls State Park. We want to spend a lot more time there. We may have to move to the Hill Country for a couple of years to take advantage of all there is to see and do, not to mention experience all seasons.
DeleteThank you for reading my blog.

Sounds like a lot of fun!
