Mitchell Lake Audubon Extras - From June 22

Back in June, when I was in the middle of a 10K (6.2 mile) Volksmarch, I received a call from Snelling to go to work. I did a short blog that day, but worked nine days straight and didn't get a chance to finish my blog; consider this a photo blog. I have some time now, so here goes...

Two turtles were on the path.
Here's the other turtle. This one came out of its shell.

    Beautiful photos! Do you work part-time for Snelling? What do you do?

      Yes, I do part-time temp work for Snelling. In the three months I've been signed up with them, this is my first temp assignment. I worked Exhibitor Registration for five days at the convention center. My background is medical transcription, admin assistant, office manager, and advertising sales and business writer for a weekly small-town newspaper. Also signed up with Adecco and Robert Half Office Team. The temp agencies told me that most people want temp-to-hire and the true temp jobs are few and far between. I loved doing registration at the convention, but the hours were long.
