Former Medical Transcriptionists - Wed., June 15, 2016

On Wednesday, June 15, my friend Rosemary (from our medical transcription days and travel buddy) met me to have dinner and see a movie. We met at 3:00 p.m. and really wanted to eat at The Olde Spaghetti Factory across from the movie theater.

When we met at the restaurant, we realized they are only open for dinner. Luckily, Red Robin was just a block away so we had an early dinner at Red Robin instead.

We had a relaxing meal and caught up on each other's families, our work, and talked about retirement (she already is, I'm jealous). She loves traveling to zydeco music festivals and dancing. Recently she returned from a couple of weeks in New Orleans. Seems like she's always heading out to hear bands somewhere. That sounds like a lot of fun.

Rosemary hadn't seen "Me Before You" and I wanted to see it again. She liked the movie too.

We'll miss her on our next trip because they'll be doing Thanksgiving with family at the coast. Thanks, Rosemary, I enjoyed spending time with you again.

I headed back to mom's house so I could get to bed early. I will be leaving her place around 6:45 a.m. for an 8:00 a.m. walk start time in the Columbia River Gorge.
