Our RV ladies group met today for lunch at Zio's Italian Kitchen. Thank you to Colleen for organizing this fun group of seven women who socialized and enjoyed a leisurely lunch.
Here is our table before we occupied it. |
Peri, Susan, Colleen, Mary Jane, Margareta, Birdie, Vicki. |
As usual, we spent part of our time discussing future travel and weather. Other topics included birds, illness, RV parks, children and grandchildren, white-tailed deer vs. Axis deer, mosquitoes, the FlaminGoes RV ladies group, alligators, walking, and working (or not).
Two more photos from Zio's...
Peri digging in to lunch. |
Peri gave me the name of her hairdresser in San Antonio and I tried to make an appointment for this afternoon, but she didn't have a suitable time until next week. My hair is unruly and sticking out in every direction, so today I went to the same hairdresser I saw before our trip to Australia. I will book with Peri's hairdresser for my next appointment.
When Bob got home from work we had a date to Home Depot to buy shelves for a project. Above our TV is a huge storage space, but it's just one big cabinet. All of our CDs and some DVDs are there, but they're stacked in front of each other. Bob is going to put in two levels of wood shelves that will leave the middle space large, but make it so we can put all our CDs on narrow shelves on the sides and back of the cabinet. He will put little half rounds on the front of the shelves so the CDs don't slide off when we move the rig. We think this will be a much better use of the space as we'll be able to see the titles of the CD and DVDs without digging around through the rows of CDs we have now.
Tonight we watched Survivor and CSI.
Have a Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
Travel Bug sending hugs and kisses your way. Good night.
Ladies lunch out sounds great! Lots of pretty smiles in that photo!
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentin's Day to you too!
Lunch looked like a lot of fun...making memories!
ReplyDeleteI read a couple of your previous posts: I hope you and hub have a great date night this special day!! And, oh, but I smiled when I saw Bowie, so much like my Chessy. Hub and I got engaged on Valentine's Day. When he asked me what I'd like for a gift, I asked for a kitten. As such, Chessy entered my life. When hub deployed with the Marines, Chessy would hop on the bed, snuggle next to me, and put her paw in my hand. Oh, but I loved that cat beyond words and was inconsolable when she died 17 years later.
ReplyDeleteLunch looked like tons of fun -- and really yummy food! San Antonio is a super place.
Happy Valentine's Day!
Great post Susan. You got lots of great photos there too. Can't wait until our next lunch date!
ReplyDeleteHi Susan,
ReplyDeleteWe just arrived and here at # 49. Where are you at?
We are in site D, in the loop at the north end of the park nearest the Riverwalk. In fact, I think I saw you check in because our back window looks out at the area where new check-ins arrive!
DeleteSure. C'mon over.
