Love Life - Mon., Apr.14
I love life. I feel blessed to live in the era we do.
The reasons I love my life so much are my wonderful family and friends, good health, and all the opportunities I have from which to choose. I work, write, rest, think, vacation, travel, make new friends, walk, read, play games, go to movies, enjoy amusement parks, and play with my cats. I enjoy laughing which is the result of a funny book or movie, a good joke or crazy pun. Sometimes it's the little things, like a hug or a kiss, a special gift, a meaningful card, a pat on the back, or a "job well done."
Our modern conveniences - microwaves, ovens, electricity, vacuums, hair dryers, cars, jets, computers, satellites, smart phones, refrigerators, vaccines, lawn mowers, canned foods, frozen foods, saws, cranes, semi-trucks, safety equipment, hospitals - make life easy.
Then there's all the entertainment options available to us: DVDs, cable TV, movies, DVRs, amusement parks, concerts, live theater, parties, myriad sports on TV or streamed to your tablet or smart phone, laser tag, Kindle, Nook, restaurants of every variety, cruise ships, tour packages, board games, Wii, Xbox, Playstation, and so much more.
If you want to learn, in addition to colleges and universities, you can search the World Wide Web where you can get answers to just about any question in minutes. Museums, botanic gardens, wildlife refuges, national parks, state parks, zoos, safaris, caverns all are places to quench your thirst for knowledge about our natural world.
What makes you love life?

Amen....I am right with you Susan!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy the ease of communication with people so very far away. Being able to chat with friends and family instantaneous via the Internet is wonderful compared with the two week wait for a letter to travel the long distance from England or America to Australia.
ReplyDeleteThis lifestyle make us love life so much more.
ReplyDeleteAll of the above, and GRANDKIDS!
