After seeing "McFarland USA," it was time for supper. Bob chose Green Vegetarian Cuisine at The Pearl, which both of us enjoy. It's fun to walk around The Pearl in San Antonio, too.

After dinner at Green, we went to Missions Fruiteria near Mission San Jose. I've always wanted to try their fruit cup. Wow, wow, wow! The fruit cup is $6.00, but here are a couple of photos of it.

It's hard to tell from the photo, but that cup is not the 8 oz size, it is about 16 ounces. Fruits included strawberries, watermelon, cantaloupe, coconut, grapes, pineapple, cucumber, and jicama. (Well, I don't consider all of those fruits, but that's what came in it.) They sprinkled chili powder on it which gives it an interesting flavor. Two of us ate what we could, then saved the rest for Monday.
I'll be heading back for more of that.
