The Punishment Fits the Crime - Fri., June 7

Every week Mom sends us a manila envelope filled with news from our home state, Oregon. One article in particular stands out from the The Oregonian articles she sends us. The following story is true, no names have been included to protect the thief's (in)dignity.

Here is the short article from the The Oregonian, no author credit was given:

You be the judge (or you have to be kidding)
Now that motor-home weather is here, the following incident should be of interest.

Recently in a city in the state of Washington, a man attempted to siphon gas from a motor home parked on a city street, but his endeavor got him more than he bargained for.

The police were called and upon arrival at the scene, they found a man curled up next to the motor home along with a pool of sewage. The would-be thief admitted to the police that he was trying to steal gas and inadvertently plugged his hose into the motor home's sewage tank.

The owner of the motor home declined to prosecute, commenting that "street justice had been done."
Thank you, Mom, for causing massive belly laughs and extra snickers with this dumb crook article. Not the sharpest tool in the shed, but certainly the smelliest!

Travel Bug out.
