With Randall safely ensconced in the car, we headed out to Random, a new event venue being developed near Boerne City Lake. Randall met with the owner and owner's girlfriend to discuss restoration work and building projects. While he was doing that, Bob and I drove over to Boerne's Berges Fest to see what that was all about.
Here are our impressions...

What's with men not knowing what to put on their feet? If you're wearing shorts, especially "Leder Hosen", I somehow don't think black socks and "Crocs" are the answer. What happened to the rest of the costume? Where's that guy's wife? But wait, he probably doesn't have one.
ReplyDeleteSome days I'm just not proud of my fellow gents. Not proud. *sigh*
Looks like you had a fine day. How did the interview go?
The gentleman in the picture you referred to is Bob - he is in his 80's and is from Germany - he is a vendor and after a long day or two or three - he can wear whatever he wants on his feet for comfort - and his lovely wife, Paula, doesn't mind a bit - they are a great couple of folks that pass no judgment on anyone, especially for what they have on their feet ... Prost!
DeleteWhat a pretty little town Boerne is. . .and the PeachTree Cafe has yummy eats. . .
