If you're traveling now and plan to visit national parks or any other government attraction, you will want to keep an eye on a possible government shut-down on September 29. There's rumblings in the news that it could happen for the second time in two years.
What a bummer that would be, especially with cooler fall temperatures arriving and fall colors soon to start in different areas of the country.
So, you might want to accelerate any plans you have to visit national parks, national monuments, national historic battlefields, etc., just in case our lawmakers decide to punish us for their inability to work together to come to a quick conclusion on the current issues.
Just sayin'.

ReplyDeleteIt's the only thing the GOP can do these days. Cause more trouble for the people. These shut downs cost a lot.
