One day at a time, not overdoing it, but still feeling weak and a little light-headed. I think it has more to do with my diet than anything else. I'm not getting enough protein yet.
Today, Bob took me to Costco's Optometrist where I had a new eye exam. I don't know how, but with my last two eye exams, my eyesight has IMPROVED so I need a lesser prescription again. Maybe it's all the carrot juice and blueberries I've been eating.
I took my eyeglass frames with me to find out if I can just get new lenses to replace the scratched ones and skip buying a brand new frame. The verdict is, yes, I can. The lady working in Costco's eyeglass sales has been in the business for 26 years and she took my glasses, fixed the nose pieces, looked at the frames and said we could re-use them. Yay! I should have my new prescription in 7-10 days.
Next, I need to schedule a consultation with a dentist and possibly an endodontist. We have three weeks until we fly out. Let's see what can get done on my teeth.
I have one more blog that needs to be updated with pictures from our 2011 trip. See the attached link.

There...that old chore is complete! Now my blogs will be new again.
Have a good day and be safe out there. Another blogger friend has taken a tumble off her bike. Seemingly no major injuries, thankfully.
Travel Bug out.
Costco is great for glasses, I've bought mine there for years now.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure you'll feel much stronger as you get to eat more. I'd be fainting a lot I'm afraid.
Glad you are moving slowly ahead and still looking forward to your trip to Australia.
ReplyDeleteGlad you're healing so quickly. You are definetly amazing. I'd have cancelled the Australian trip. (Guess that would have been hard to do after all the planning & so last minute, but you really hurt yourself.) Kudos to you for staying with it! You're one Strong Woman, hear you Roar!!! Lynn
